Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Defense Trade Analyst III Responsibilities Include:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 48px;\"><li>Review, analyze, and evaluate cases in multiple commodity categories to identify legal, policy, regulatory, and procedural considerations.&nbsp;</li><li>Collect and analyze data and information provided by U.S. industry and precedent cases.&nbsp;</li><li>Refer significant cases to concerned agencies and bureaus, making recommendations as necessary.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in meetings to discuss case merits with stakeholders, considering national security and foreign policy considerations.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate recommendations, approve or deny license applications and agreements, and draft necessary clauses and provisos.&nbsp;</li><li>Determine the need for Congressional notification and prepare the required documentation.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify cases requiring verification or potential investigation for violation activity.&nbsp;</li><li>Engage with U.S. industry to provide guidance, interpret export policies, and offer training.&nbsp;</li><li>Draft and coordinate various communications and represent the organization in export control and non-proliferation groups.&nbsp;</li><li>Work closely with other government agencies and provide guidance on the EXODUS program.&nbsp;</li><li>Stay updated on world events, foreign policy, and technological advances relevant to defense trade.&nbsp;</li><li>Work with minimal supervision, manage assigned responsibilities, and analyze arms export control policies.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in formulating and executing new licensing policy initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform licensing data analysis and draft relevant documents for approval.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide guidance, training, and review completed work as necessary.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other job-related duties as required.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Defense Trade Analyst III Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 48px;\"><li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with AECA and ITAR regulatory experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of U.S. foreign policy, national security, and legislation affecting arms transfers.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with DDTC registration, compliance, and licensing processes.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong customer service, interpersonal, and partnering skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to research, interpret, and apply regulatory material.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities.&nbsp;</li><li>Working knowledge of office equipment and computer systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>#CherokeeFederal #LI-WD1</p><p><strong>Company Information:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Cherokee Nation Strategic Solutions (CNSS) provides support, services, and solutions to federal and commercial customers.
