We believe consistency, structure, and relationships are essential to healing—and we support staff doing this important work.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Provide Direct Care & Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the <strong>safety, supervision, and well-being</strong> of students at all times</li>\n <li>Build <strong>positive, professional relationships</strong> while maintaining appropriate boundaries</li>\n <li>Teach and reinforce <strong>healthy behaviors, hygiene, and life skills</strong></li>\n <li>Support a <strong>trauma-informed treatment approach (ACORN model)</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Maintain Structure & Routine</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise students with <strong>constant visual and auditory awareness</strong></li>\n <li>Facilitate <strong>daily schedules, activities, and transitions</strong></li>\n <li>Conduct routine <strong>room checks and safety monitoring</strong></li>\n <li>Transport students to appointments and activities as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Behavioral Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Respond to behaviors using <strong>CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention)</strong> techniques</li>\n <li>Use <strong>de-escalation strategies</strong> and, when necessary, approved physical interventions</li>\n <li>Promote <strong>positive behavior, self-regulation, and social development</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Engage & Mentor</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and participate in <strong>recreational and skill-building activities</strong></li>\n <li>Serve as a <strong>role model</strong> for appropriate social interactions</li>\n <li>Support students in <strong>family connections and communication</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Documentation & Communication</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete <strong>shift notes, reports, and required documentation</strong> accurately and on time</li>\n <li>Communicate <strong>incidents, concerns, and updates</strong> to supervisors</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Health & Safety</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a <strong>clean, safe, and organized environment</strong></li>\n <li>Support students with <strong>daily living tasks and housekeeping</strong></li>\n <li>Respond appropriately to <strong>illness, injury, or emergencies</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent required</strong></p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Valid driver’s license (Class C or D) required</strong></p></li>\n <li><p>0–3 years of related experience (human services, internships, or volunteer work accepted)</p></li>\n</ul>",
