While reporting administratively to the VP of Operations, this position has authority, responsibility, and accountability for effectively monitoring compliance of mental health services with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, state contract requirements, and ACA expected practices and NCCHC standards. This position is directly accountable to the Vice President of Operations and, as designated, to the MADOC Health Services team. In addition, they direct supervision of the Associate Statewide Mental Health Director. Guides team in process improvement at least annually, either on site or through tele-video.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Reviews results of all VitalCore QAPI and Clinical Programs surveys with regard to mental health services and provides oversight in the development, implementation, and follow-up monitoring processes.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Fosters positive relationships with the facilities&rsquo; leadership.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Coordinates and participates, where indicated, in annual peer review of licensed mental health staff.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Provides timely feedback, and if appropriate, coordinates 2nd opinion consultation when required.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Monitors outcomes under evidence-based clinical guidelines.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Develops strategic plans in collaboration with Regional Managers.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Focuses on interpretation of data and confirms development of satisfactory and appropriate action plans.</li><li>Participates in root cause analysis processes related to scope of responsibility.</li><li>Fosters a professional environment and supports seamless delivery of services by the site mental health professionals and medical via the Health Service Administrators, in collaboration with the Vice President of Operations or designee.</li><li>Develops lists of key individuals to effect optimal communication with client contacts and maintains contacts in accordance with company communication plan.</li><li>Maintains availability for any ACA/NCCHC accreditation or DOJ visits for all MADOC facilities.</li><li>Participates in mortality, morbidity, and sentinel event review as required by VitalCore policy or as requested by management.</li><li>Ensures participation of facility level mental health leadership in the Care Management daily meetings.</li><li>Participates in committees as assigned.</li><li>Participates in the development of onboarding and training materials for mental health processes and workflows.</li><li>Assists with clinical onboarding and training of Regional Mental Health Directors, and site mental health professionals as needed.</li><li>Demonstrates proficiency in all company software required for the position.</li><li>Oversees the development and delivery of a robust mental health training series to clinical staff that addresses the clinical demands of the workforce.</li><li>Consults with Vice President of Operations and HR on HR related issues when there is a concern regarding the ethics, provision of care, or license of any mental health staff that could result in disciplinary action.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>REGIONAL MENTAL HEALTH DIRECTOR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</strong></span><ul><li>Must have a doctoral level degree (i.e. PhD or PsyD) in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, or a related field</li><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><u>Must be a licensed Licensed Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts</u></li><li>Supervisory and correctional experience preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>VitalCore Health Strategies is an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive workplace in which all employees have an opportunity to participate and contribute to the success of the business and are valued for their skills, experience, and unique perspectives.</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>Full-Time",
