These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Machine Operator</strong></p>\n<p>Downingtown, PA</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation Includes</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Starting rate at<strong> $23.70/hour</strong></li>\n <li>Pay differential added for 2nd shift and 3rd shift</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Available Shifts</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>2nd: 3:00pm - 11:00pm </p></li>\n <li><p>3rd: 11:00pm - 7:00am </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Consistently operates zone of forming machines at or above standard levels considering waste, efficiency and utilization</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot causes of machine malfunctions</li>\n <li>Make appropriate adjustments or repairs to ensure that the quality of the cartons meeting specifications and that the machines operate properly</li>\n <li>Conducts quality checks at regular intervals and takes corrective action to fix defects identified</li>\n <li>Performs minor repairs during production</li>\n <li>Performs changeovers</li>\n <li>Performs weekly machine maintenance</li>\n <li>Communicates with the operator from the previous and following shifts and with supervisors to review any problems experienced on the machines throughout the department</li>\n <li>Performs purge procedures when changing to a new product and completes the required checklists</li>\n <li>Follows LOTO and alternative LOTO procedures</li>\n <li>Maintains a clean and orderly work area</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1+ year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment</li>\n <li>Some mechanical experience prefrerred </li>\n <li>HS diploma or GED equivalent is required</li>\n <li>The ability to read and understand safety protocols and equipment manuals written in English is required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
