    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Join our dynamic team of pediatric intensivists in beautiful Richmond, VA</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity BC/BE pediatric intensivists to join our our current group of 5 board certified Pediatric Critical Care Providers at Bon Secours/Mercy St. Mary’s Hospital.  Ideal candidates will be strong clinicians who work well as part of a team, adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines, and provide high quality care.  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>6-physician practice with inhouse call</li>\n <li>Block scheduling available with 12 hour shifts M-F and 24 hour shifts on weekends </li>\n <li>Responsibilities include covering the 10-bed PICU with an ADC of 7, shared coverage of two day per week sedation program </li>\n <li>Robust sub-specialty support available, including Peds GI, Endocrinology, Surgery, Pulmonology, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Orthopedics and Urology  </li>\n <li>Pediatrix also provides NICU and pediatric hospitalist services at St. Mary’s Hospital.</li>\n <li>Physicians will be part of a comprehensive care team of pediatric critical care specialists and pediatric hospitalists. </li>\n <li>Experienced providers and new grads are encouraged to apply. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About the Hospital</strong></p>\n<p>St. Mary’s Hospital, the flagship hospital of Bon Secours Mercy Health, is a well-respected hospital system in the Richmond area.
