You will be working as part of multi-disciplinary team responsible for researching, architecting and building a cutting-edge platform that enable Goldman Sachs teams to deploy and manage services in public cloud safely and securely. We are at an early stage of modernizing our services around cloud native principles, and you will be directly contributing to platform that programmatically enforces safety, security and compliance of services and enables engineers to innovate faster.</p>\n<p>The organization is seeking highly collaborative, creative, and intellectually curious engineers who are passionate about developing and implementing cutting-edge cloud computing solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a DevOps culture and contribute to customer-centric product development. <span>They will work closely with cross-functional teams, and will be creative collaborators who evolve, adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced global environment.</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities And Qualifications:</b><br><br>\n  As part of our global Cloud Infrastructure team you will work on various components as a Software Engineer. Your role includes specification, development, testing and releasing of new features. The team owns the platforms throughout the lifecycle. You are expected to contribute to the vision, understand our customers’ needs, business goals, product roadmap and contribute to building an engineering culture within the team. We expect the successful candidate to deliver high quality software and to be passionate about software engineering. You must have a proficient understanding of software development, security and the mechanisms to design safe, resilient and highly-available cloud native services.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>You are a hands on Cloud engineer who will focus on building the connectivity products, Solutions and migrating workloads to the public cloud.</li>\n <li>You have working knowledge on atleast one of the cloud service provider AWS, GCP, Azure or OCI and design principles.</li>\n <li>You thrive in a multi-project environment, dealing with different business units and teams to understand their challenges and goals in moving to the public cloud.</li>\n <li>You are experienced in architecting and deploying multi-tiered applications which are <span>highly available, resilient, with secure cloud architectures.</span></li>\n <li>You proactively manage issues and risks through the delivery lifecycle.</li>\n <li>You have exceptional analytical skills, able to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions.</li>\n <li>You possess a strong desire to learn and contribute solutions and ideas to a broad team.</li>\n <li>You are independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environment</li>\n <li>Manage multiple tasks and use sound judgment when prioritizing.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with a globally-distributed cross functional team in building customer-centric products.</li>\n <li>Build services to integrate on-premises systems with public cloud providers and software libraries to provide consistent, secure, and ready-to-consume patterns for application development teams using public cloud services.</li>\n <li>Collaborate across teams on feature design and problem solving.</li>\n <li>Manage the full lifecycle of software components, from requirements through design, testing, development, release and demise.</li>\n <li>Partner with colleagues from across Engineering to ensure an outstanding, useable, and unobtrusive experience for development teams building and deploying their applications and infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Help to communicate and promote best practices for public cloud application development and infrastructure management across the firm.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>Basic Qualifications</b>:&nbsp;<br>\n  &nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience</span> (more experienced professionals are desired) with at least 3+ years of familiarity with AWS services.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li>\n <li>Familiarity with disciplines of enterprise software development such as configuration and release management, source code and version controls along with operating considerations such as monitoring.</li>\n <li>Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline).</li>\n <li>Proficiency working with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.</li>\n <li>Experience working with Configuration management automation tools like Ansible.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.</li>\n <li>Experience&nbsp;with Javascript / Typescript / Node.</li>\n <li>Strong networking background (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, routing protocols).</li>\n <li>Proficient using relational and NoSQL database technologies.</li>\n <li>Experience building transactional systems and strong understanding of software architecture.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Exposure to containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack).</li>\n <li>General knowledge of networking, security, and system administration in cloud environments.</li>\n <li>Skilled in implementing architectural governance.</li>\n <li>Ability to establish trusted partnerships with product leads, and executive level stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Comfort with agile operating models.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b><br>\n  &nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>AWS or any CSP certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate).</li>\n <li>Deep knowledge of Cloud Native Networking, Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Strategy</li>\n <li>Understanding of Solution Engineering practices.</li>\n <li>Fluency in AWS CDK, Typescript, NPM, CloudFormation.</li>\n <li>Understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing.</li>\n <li>Basic experience with performance tuning and cost optimization in AWS.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Good communication and documentation skills.</li>\n <li>Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous
