We welcome candidates who can contribute to the excellence of our academic community.</p>\n<h2>Description</h2>\n<p> </p>The Emory University Department of Ophthalmology/Emory Eye Center is seeking a \n<strong>full-time faculty member</strong> to join our section of \n<strong>Oculoplastics, Orbital and Cosmetic Surgery</strong> at the rank of \n<strong>Assistant Professor or higher</strong>. The Emory Eye Center and Emory University Hospital provide a stimulating environment with opportunities for collaboration with leading physicians across the full range of ophthalmology subspecialties and other fields. Candidates should be interested in \n<strong>multidisciplinary cases and complex pathology</strong> during their time at \n<strong>The Emory Clinic, Emory University Hospital, and Grady Hospital</strong>; \n<strong>interest in pediatric care at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is preferred</strong>. Ideal candidates will have completed a \n<strong>post-residency fellowship in Oculoplastics and Orbital Surgery</strong> and be eligible for membership in the \n<strong>American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS)</strong>. Applicants should demonstrate a robust commitment to \n<strong>top-quality patient care</strong>, \n<strong>strong clinical judgment</strong>, \n<strong>excellent surgical skill</strong>, and an interest in \n<strong>teaching residents, medical students, and fellows</strong>. \n<p>NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option.
