    "description": "<p><span><span>Full-time position available providing </span><span>high-quality and compassionate </span><span>service to clients in </span><span>Washtenaw, and </span><span>surrounding counties</span><span>.</span><span> The Foster Care Case Manager </span><span>is responsible for</span><span> case management services to neglected/abused children currently in foster care, birth parents, and foster parents. </span><span>D</span><span>uties include development of Parent/Agency Agreements, </span><span>timely</span><span> completion of service plans, attendance at court hearings and ability to testify, referrals to external services, consistent contact with the child’s providers, </span><span>and providing </span><span>supportive casework services to birth parents. </span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>Master’s or bachelor’s</span><span> degree in human services with experience in child welfare</span><span> is </span><span>required</span><span>. Q</span><span>ualified applicants must </span><span>possess</span><span> working knowledge of Child Welfare</span><span>, </span><span>DHHS policies, and State of Michigan laws </span><span>regarding</span><span> foster care</span><span>.</span><span>  </span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>Reliable transportation and a valid Michigan driver’s license are </span><span>required</span><span> as this position is </span><span>required</span><span> to travel </span><span>frequently</span><span> up to 100 miles from the Main Office in Ann Arbor. </span><span>Some evening work may be required</span><span>.</span><span> </span><span> </span><span>Shared</span><span> rotating</span><span> on-call availability </span><span>among </span><span>Child Welfare</span><span> staff </span><span>to</span><span> manage 24/7 </span><span>crisis.
