ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Hospice Aide plays an essential role in providing compassionate and personalized care to members receiving end-of-life services. This position focuses on supporting the physical, emotional, and comfort needs of hospice member in their homes or care facilities. The Hospice Aide works closely with nurses, social workers, and family members to ensure a holistic approach to member care that respects dignity and quality of life. By assisting with daily living activities and monitoring member conditions, the Hospice Aide helps to alleviate discomfort and promote a peaceful environment. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall hospice care team&rsquo;s mission of delivering empathetic and respectful support during a critical phase of life.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state regulations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Completion of a state-approved CNA training program with clinical experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">CPR certification required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Basic knowledge of member care principles and infection control practices.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to communicate effectively in English with member, families, and healthcare team members.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Physical capability to assist member with mobility and personal care tasks.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Previous experience working in hospice or palliative care settings.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Additional training or certification in end-of-life care or pain management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation software.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">CPR and First Aid certification.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist members with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to maintain their comfort and hygiene.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor and report changes in members physical or emotional conditions to the nursing staff promptly.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide companionship and emotional support to members and their families, fostering a comforting and reassuring atmosphere.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Help with light housekeeping tasks related to member care areas to ensure a safe and clean environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support the hospice care team by documenting care provided and participating in care planning meetings as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
