          "text": "<p>The Distribution Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient daily operations of all distribution accounts. This role combines warehouse responsibilities with customer service support. Shift&#xa0;M-F 1pm to 10pm.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>1. Warehouse Operations:</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions. Operate shrink-wrap machine if required.</p><p>&#xa0;&#xa0; - Receive, count, and inspect inbound shipments accurately.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Safely unload shipments and move products to appropriate storage locations, utilizing forklift if qualified.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Maximize space usage in storage areas and ensure proper stock rotation.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Pick orders accurately and transport them to shipping locations using material handling equipment.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Verify outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Maintain equipment and assigned areas in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Keep accurate inventory records, assist in physical inventories, and cycle counts.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions. Operate shrink-wrap machine if required.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Must be able to lead, train and coordinate warehouse contract labor to execute all functions according to Expeditors operational excellence expectations</p><p>2. Customer Service Support:</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Process and input customer orders and distribution accounts accurately.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Generate necessary paperwork and information for work orders.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Run stock reports to check product availability.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Provide accurate and timely daily operational reports.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Conduct invoicing and handle billings with associated documentation.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Coordinate special shipping requests with relevant departments.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Trace orders and notify customers of any updates.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Maintain excellent working relationships with customers, promptly responding to inquiries and resolving complaints.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Handle returned merchandise efficiently and ensure proper credit is given to the customer.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Assist with clerical tasks, filing, and research.</p><p>&#xa0; &#xa0;- Support DST Supervisor in keeping and updating SOPs, process checklists and training guides</p><p>&#xa0;</p>",
