What you’ll be doing – The Role The IT Operations Administrator supports the daily administration, maintenance, and coordination of key software systems and user access across the organization. This role is responsible for supporting user management, software support, documentation and training materials assistance, ticket coordination, reporting support, and cross-functional follow-up related to system enhancements and operational workflows. The ideal candidate is technically proficient across various software platforms and demonstrates strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. They are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining accuracy and follow-through, with strong communication skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES User Management & System Administration Manage users, including creating, updating, and deactivating profiles in internal operating software systems and CRM, as assigned. Manage assignment of software licensing for new devices and conduct periodic quarterly field audits to confirm licensing assignment records. Support review of user assignments to keep email distribution lists and Teams drive access current. Coordinate with IT department to request new distribution lists and Teams drives as requested for field operations support. Software Support & Documentation Support the creation of training documentation for software enhancements, updates, and new feature releases. Assign end users for testing and gather internal and external testing evidence to support software enhancement transport documentation for review and approval by the IT Operations Manager. Support system-related process improvements and documentation updates as needed. Ticketing & Issue Tracking Support internal end-user ticket responses by handling assigned tickets as directed by the IT Operations Manager. Assist with weekly tracking of open software and related support issues and resolutions, escalating as needed for weekly support calls. Assist the IT Operations Manager with tracking status updates, follow-up items, and ticketing status to support weekly review calls. Reporting & Operational Support Support Webstore administration by pulling pricing exports, customer files, and catalog exports on a quarterly cadence, as assigned. Support or directly create monthly or quarterly business management reports as assigned. Assist with maintaining accurate system records and providing operational reporting support across departments. Other duties as assigned.
