This training program consists of working with experienced Industrial Engineers to learn these basic skills in a hands-on environment:<ul><li>Work measurement, time studies, and manufacturing processes</li><li>Use of our software for labor efficiency measurement and labor cost</li><li>Continuous Improvement methodologies, standardization, and waste reduction using Hormel Production System</li><li>Use of plant production floor data collection software</li><li>People Safety and Ergonomics in a food manufacturing facility</li><li>Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)</li><li>Capital Project Execution including defining requirements, scoping a project, selecting equipment, calculating return on investment, and supporting installation and start-up</li></ul></li><li>Calculating department and line capacities and utilization rates &nbsp;</li><li>Industrial Engineers attend a virtual Inspired Hires orientation.
