    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><i>The Teen Academy</i><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><i> </i></span><i>program is</i><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><i> </i></span><i>a summer work + internship program which</i><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><i> </i></span><i>began in 2016 at the</i><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><i> </i></span><i>IHG Army Hotel in</i><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><i> </i></span><i>Joint Force Base San Antonio. In 2017, other IHG Army Hotels took notice, and a portfolio-wide program was born.&nbsp;</i></p><p><i>At Intercontinental Hotels Group, we own, operate and franchise more than 7000 hotels, offering to over a million guest rooms in over 100 countries.&nbsp; By bringing your expertise and passion to any one of our brands, you will help us achieve our vision: to be the preferred, admired, and successful hotel company the world over.&nbsp;</i></p><p><i><u>Benefits of the Program:</u></i></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><i>Provides teens with skills development and</i><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><i> </i></span><i>real experience working in a hotel.&nbsp;</i></li><li><i>Helps develop a strong work ethic while providing a rewarding summer experience.&nbsp;</i></li><li><i>Shapes strong family values as we prove IHG’s Winning Ways and a commitment to deliver True.&nbsp;&nbsp;</i></li><li><i>Hospitality is not only for work, but for a</i><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><i> </i></span><i>strong and healthy lifestyle.&nbsp;</i></li><li><i>Builds appreciation for hard working parents and/or other relatives that work to provide for the family.&nbsp;</i></li><li><i>Teen Academy is designed as a 8 to10 Week Program (depending on school district and applicable local laws)</i></li><li><i>The Program takes place during summer months only when school is out.&nbsp;</i></li></ul><p><i>Unless otherwise required by law, participating teens may</i><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><i> </i></span><i><u>NOT</u> work more than 40 hours per week, work more than 8 hours/days, 5 days/week or work overtime.&nbsp;[Program duration may vary depending on local school schedules.]</i></p><p><i>Core program hours: 0800 – 1600, Monday – Friday.&nbsp;&nbsp;</i></p><p><i>This is a non-exempt temporary position with a pay rate of $17.75/hour.</i></p><p><i><u>Qualifications:</u></i></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><i>Ages 14-17, subject to federal, state, and local labor laws.&nbsp;</i></li><li><i>Each teen should be willing to learn different job duties including Room Attendant, Houseperson, Laundry Attendant, Breakfast Attendant, Some Maintenance Duties. &nbsp;</i></li><li><i>Must have transportation and be able to gain access to the post.</i></li><li><i>Must have any legally required permits.</i></li><li><i>Must have copy recent Report Card.&nbsp;</i></li></ul><p><i>* Subject to state occupational work requirements for minors.&nbsp; &nbsp;</i></p>",
