    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY: </strong> Responsible to the Director of Perioperative Services, this position is responsible for compiling and maintaining records regarding procedures and other statistics for the department, procedural case management studies, and preparation of administrative financial reports and interdepartmental coordination of all charges generated by the Department of Surgery. Assists with scheduling of procedures for the Surgery and Gl Lab. Provides overall clerical support and services to meet the specific needs of the surgery director, providing high quality service to patients, physicians, and staff. Accountable for charges and e time payroll edit as directed by the director.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<li> High School diploma preferred </li>\n<li>   Must have current BCLS</li>\n<li>At least 1 year experience in acute care setting preferred</li>\n<li>   Ability to speak read and write in English</li>\n<li>   Knowledge of medical terminology</li>\n<li>   Proficient in the use of Word/Excel for creation of documents and reports.</li>\n<p> </p>",
