This will enable the individual to learn skills associated with antibody drug development, both in terms of cell line development workflows and process development.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</span></span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform aseptic handling in a biosafety cabinet (BSC)</li>\n<li>Perform cell culture in shake flasks and bioreactor handling on a routine basis</li>\n<li>Perform cell culture analysis with manual (hemacytometer) or automated cell counting methods, and metabolite analysers on a routine basis</li>\n<li>Perform chromatography purification, including affinity and Multi-Modal Chromatography, using AKTA systems</li>\n<li>Prepare cell culture media, purification buffers for various process development steps</li>\n<li>Able to record data accurately, legibly and in a timely fashion</li>\n<li>Analyse and present information with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint</li>\n<li>Support in data analysis, and technical documentation writing</li>\n<li>Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and perform under pressure</li>\n<li>On-job training will be provided</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science or Engineering program</span></li>\n<li>Competency in suspension cell culture and aseptic techniques preferred</li>\n<li>Competency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint</li>\n<li>A basic understanding of cell biology, biologics manufacturing and process development<br></li>\n<li><span>Able to commit for a 20 weeks internship period </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in aseptic techniques and biosafety cabinet (BSC) work</li>\n<li>Experience in downstream purification techniques using an AKTA<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>O</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>UR MISSION &amp; VALUES</span></span></p>\n<p><span>Our fast-growing biotechnology company is committed to discovering and developing important new drugs for cancer and autoimmune diseases, and living by our values: Excellence, Determination, Teamwork, Intellectual Integrity and Audacity.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>JOIN US AT THE FRONTIER OF DRUG DISCOVERY AND DEVELOPMENT</span></span></p>\n<p><span>We are looking for passionate and motivated individuals committed to solving important, complex problems.
