Initial assignment is in Hastings, Nebraska.</span> The Field Engineer will assist in the supervision of field work performed by Weitz and/or our subcontractors. font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt\">Participate in the development of the project plan and ensure proper execution</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(67, 60, 58); font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt\">Make recommendations to the supervisor for design or other changes that will enhance the quality of the project, reduce operating and maintain costs, improve the scheduled completion, and/or decrease construction costs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(67, 60, 58); font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt\">Assist Superintendent with equipment review and planning</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(67, 60, 58); font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt\">Assist Superintendent with pre-construction meetings with appropriate subcontractors prior to their start in the field</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(67, 60, 58); font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt\">Maintain and protect all tools, equipment, and materials on the jobsite</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(67, 60, 58); font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt\">Assist Superintendent with site logistics and cleanup to present a professional image to the public</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(67, 60, 58); font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt\">Maintain accurate cost reporting and respond to RFI’s</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(67, 60, 58); font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt\">Assist the Superintendent, as needed, in developing, updating, and maintaining the project schedule</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(67, 60, 58); font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt\">Document all delays and inform Superintendent</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(67, 60, 58); font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt\">Assist in monitoring the field performance for all aspects of the project including subcontractors, employees, consultants, schedules, quality, and costs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(67, 60, 58); font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt\">Maintain routine relations with owners’ and architects’ representatives.  Major disputes or problems encountered are discussed with appropriate Supervisor</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(67, 60, 58);
