The clinical supervisor ensures the quality of clinical services by providing individual and group supervision and offering didactic trainings and consultation to staff as needed. This position is also responsible for ensuring that trauma informed and culturally competent services are being provided and appropriate professional standards and licensing/certification requirements are being met.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Supervision responsibilities: Supervision responsibilities include monitoring the clinical work of supervisees and providing individual and group supervision for clinical staff and students; maintaining appropriate supervision agreements and proof of hours; signing off on required paperwork for the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and the California Board of Psychology; completing staff and student evaluations and written recommendations; and assisting with crisis intervention, mandated reporting, and other urgent clinical matters; communicating with directors around staff and interns&rsquo; progress or any areas of concern; traveling to different program sites within San Francisco as necessary.</p><p>Compliance responsibilities: Compliance responsibilities include co-signing treatment plans and progress notes as required; performing internal audits of medical records to ensure timely completion of clinical documentation according to standards established by law, regulations, and stakeholder requirements.</p><p>Training responsibilities: Training responsibilities include developing and conducting trainings in administrative procedures and clinical topics related to the delivery of mental health and substance use services.</p><p>And other duties as assigned.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><h2>Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</h2><p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Education and Experience Required:</p><ul><li>Licensed with CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) or Board of Psychology (Psychologist) for at least 2 years.</li><li>A minimum of 4 years experience in the delivery of behavioral health services with supervisory responsibilities.</li><li>Completion of required clinical supervision training per BBS if applicable and ongoing maintenance of clinical supervision CEUs.</li><li>Experience in staff management, training, and supervision.</li><li>Knowledge of trauma informed and evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, Seeking Safety, and harm reduction.</li><li>Knowledge of clinical documentation (assessment, treatment plans, progress notes, etc.).</li><li>Experience in meeting compliance standards for federal, state, and local government contracts and grant requirements.</li><li>Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population.</li><li>Experience in working with co-occurring disorders, criminal justice population, and substance use treatment.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>First Aid Certified within 30 days of employment.</li><li>CPR Certified within 30 days of employment.</li><li>Valid TB test clearance.</li></ul><p>Desired:</p><ul><li>Experience with Mental Health and Drug Medi-Cal billing and documentation.</li><li>Experience with electronic medical records, strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Knowledge of SFDPH Behavioral Health Services policies and systems as they pertain to substance use and mental health service delivery.</li></ul><p>We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.</p><p>In compliance with the California Department of Public Health&#39;s mandate, all employees must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
