          "text": "<p><strong>JOB DETAILS</strong></p><p><strong>1st Shift: 6AM-2:30PM* Monday - Friday</strong></p><p><strong>Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour&#xa0;</strong></p><p><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p>The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows in a manufacturing environment. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.</p><ul><li>Performs repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units. In addition, it may support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows</li><li>Must work safely</li><li>Performs any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers</li><li>Understand and carry out oral instructions. Read and carry out simple written instructions</li><li>Read work orders, labels, and schedules. Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview)</li><li>Inspect, examine, and observe for product defects. Make fraction and decimal conversions</li><li>Operates any equipment needed to perform a job</li><li>Provide on-the-job training to new employees</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul>",

This job requires the ability to deal with people beyond giving and receiving instructions</li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and written or oral instructions</li><li>Mental/Physical/Visual Demands: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; turning or twisting; pushing; and talk or hear. The employee must repetitively lift, push, and/or move 50 pounds unassisted. Must be able to pass a background check</li><li>Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the average plant temperature conditions range from 60° in the cooler months and up to 100° during the warmer months. All workstations on the plant floor require the use of protective eyewear, hearing protection, and safety-toe and/or metatarsal shoes. Some workstations require additional personal protective equipment, to include but not limited to gloves, arm guards, and leather aprons</li><li>Safety: Safe work performance is always required from each Associate. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals.
