You want to learn more about the design process and how a team works together to get projects done.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Binnie is looking for a Civil Design EIT to join our Development Squamish Division, which provides professional services for municipal infrastructure programs, large multi-family housing projects, and major commercial and industrial developments. This position is full-time in our Squamish Office, located in the beautiful Sea to Sky region.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Projects typically include site servicing, underground infrastructure renewal, drainage improvement and in-stream works, stormwater management and green infrastructure, grading, roadway geometrics and rehabilitation, and pathways.</span><br><br><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This position is full-time in our Squamish office. You will work with our supportive team of Engineers, Technologists, and Project Managers. You will carry out design work on projects from conceptual level through to detailed design and construction. This challenging role offers great mentorship opportunities.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">YOUR ROLE:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Preparing design drawings using AutoCAD or Civil3D</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Performing design work in consultation with the Engineer of Record</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Preparing reports, manuals, and technical memorandums</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Preparing proposals and engineering fee estimates</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensuring quality control procedures are completed as per Binnie’s Organizational Quality Management (OQM) Policy</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensuring that project designs and calculations adhere to legal standard</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Completing site inspection as needed</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">WHAT YOU BRING:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Completed Degree in Civil Engineering and registration as an EIT with EGBC</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Minimum of 2 years of related professional work experience in an engineering or other </span>related professional environment</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Previous hands-on experience working with AutoCAD or Civil3D</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Sound working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong written communication skills including technical report writing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple ongoing projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, other consultants and contractors</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work cooperatively and productively in a team environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to consistently maintain a high degree of accuracy and quality in work </span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">ABOUT BINNIE:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">We are the people behind the infrastructure you use every day.
