We work hard, have a great time doing it, and we’re always pushing to see how far digital storytelling can go!\n\n THE ROLE \n\nWe’re looking for a world class freelance thumbnail designer who knows how to stop the scroll. You should live and breathe YouTube, understand how to design for attention, and have a portfolio that proves you know how to deliver high click through rate thumbnails. This isn’t just a design job—it’s about understanding psychology, storytelling, and the ever changing YouTube landscape. \n \n HOW TO APPLY \n\nWatch this video to learn more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= bZr9YLRCCM\n\n Requirements\n\n Key Responsibilities: \n\n Concept and design high performing thumbnails for long form and short form YouTube videos\n Collaborate with the creative director and editors to understand the story and emotional beats of each video\n Rapidly generate, iterate, and test concepts under tight deadlines\n Keep up with YouTube thumbnail trends and continually experiment with new styles\n Ensure every thumbnail is optimized for mobile and desktop viewing\n\n What We’re Looking For: \n\n A strong portfolio of YouTube thumbnails with proven performance or mock ups that show mastery of the format\n Deep knowledge of YouTube best practices, CTR metrics, and audience behavior\n Proficiency in Photoshop or similar design software\n Ability to work quickly and independently while maintaining high visual standards\n Great visual storytelling instincts and an eye for composition, color, and facial expression\n\n Preferred Qualifications \n\n Experience in frenetic lifestyle and prank content\n Familiarity with analytics tools to understand and optimize content performance.\n Previous experience managing a team of editors.\n\n Benefits\n\nCompensation: This is a project based position which pays a base fee per project as well as performance bonuses\n\n Why Join Us? \n\n Be part of a groundbreaking team creating content that millions of viewers love.\n Opportunity to lead and innovate in a highly competitive digital media space."
