    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>As a Material Handler I, you will be responsible for material receiving, stocking, inventory transfers, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Additionally, you will handle unloading inbound shipments while confirming accuracy, as well as moving materials from the warehouse to the production floor. The Material Handler I is expected to be proactive, capable of performing tasks at a high level with minimum supervision, and able to support pump systems manufacturing operations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for following all safety activity in compliance with Rain Bird Safety Standards and Programs</li>\n <li>Locate, verify, and supply production with requested materials needed</li>\n <li>Receive, verify, and document incoming raw material for quantity and ID accuracy</li>\n <li>Responsible for racking raw materials into warehouse locations and performing all transfers into the system</li>\n <li>Perform material handling activities including staging, picking, and transferring materials to production areas</li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse</li>\n <li>Perform inventory counts for Cycle Count Program</li>\n <li>Perform warehouse rack audits on an as needed basis</li>\n <li>Ability to carry up to 35 lbs. by hand</li>\n <li>Participates in process improvement activities</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent </li>\n <li>Forklift (stand-up/sit-down and/or power carts) certification or ability to obtain certification</li>\n <li>Minimum 1 year of warehouse or manufacturing material handling experience</li>\n <li>Proficient in software programs such as Word and Excel</li>\n <li>Proven track record with attendance and reliable transportation</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in barcode scanner system use and implementation</li>\n <li>Knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP systems (Oracle preferred)</li>\n <li>Experience in warehousing and/or material planning operations</li>\n <li>Bilingual (English and Spanish)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Rain Bird is an equal opportunity employer.</p>",
