They will work closely with the safety team, project teams, and field personnel. The Field Safety Professional is responsible to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, owner requirements and company policies/procedures on site while being part of a team that will create and cultivate an injury and accident-free work environment. <strong>This position will be fully at the project site located in Boise, ID. &nbsp;</strong></span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51);\"><strong>Salary Range:&nbsp;$85,000 - $120,000 DOE + &nbsp;incentives</strong></span></p><p><span><strong>Essential Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Dedicate a minimum of 80% of their time observing/correcting field safety conditions, conducting safety audits, and coaching craft personnel in best safety practices.</span></li><li><span>Actively and professionally interact with all employees to promote safe acts and workplace conditions.</span></li><li><span>Actively create and cultivate an injury and accident-free work environment.</span></li><li><span>Anticipate, identify, evaluate, and correct hazardous conditions and practices.</span></li><li><span>Train craft personnel on new employee orientation and other construction safety training programs; document formal training on appropriate forms.</span></li><li><span>Conduct and document safety inspections.</span></li><li><span>Bring any safety violation and/or hazardous condition observed to the attention of the Supervisor in charge for immediate correction.</span></li><li><span>Ensure that subcontractor's employees wear appropriate clothing, safety equipment and other PPE.</span></li><li><span>Ensure compliance with all regularity requirements, owner requirements and company policies/procedures.</span></li><li><span>Immediately visit the site of any injury, incident, or near-miss involving employees and/or equipment. Identify and protect evidence in place,&nbsp;note conditions, conduct interviews, take appropriate follow-up actions, and assist with the analysis.</span></li><li><span>Conduct Industrial Hygiene monitoring and maintain records as necessary.</span></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 0.25in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><span><strong>Qualifications:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><span>Position Related Skills</span></p><ul><li><span>Demonstrates technical construction safety knowledge.</span></li><li><span>Ability to conduct field observations, interactions, and interventions.</span></li><li><span>Interpersonal communication skills with ability to review and suggest improvements to task planning in the field.</span></li><li><span>Experience in safety training and ability to provide new contractor orientation training.</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of hazard communication program and global harmonization system.</span></li><li><span>Expertise in hazard recognition for construction.</span></li><li><span>First Aid/CPR/AED Certified.</span></li><li><span>Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certifications preferred.</span></li><li><span>OSHA 500 for construction preferred.</span></li><li><span>Requires excellent communication skills (verbally, written, and electronically), interpersonal&nbsp;skills, organizational skills and is articulate.</span></li><li><span>Excellent customer service skills; must be able to communicate well to diverse groups of people.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to work effectively both in and&nbsp;outdoors during all weather conditions.</span></li><li><span>Must have a working knowledge of basic software; Windows, MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and a general understanding of working within a computer network</span></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><span><strong>Professional Experience and Education</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>A minimum of five (5) years of construction safety related experience.</span></li><li><span>High School Diploma or GED required.</span></li><li><span>Bachelor’s degree is safety or related field preferred.</span></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>Physical and Mental Requirements:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li><span>Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is combination of standing, walking and sitting.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Must be able to climb stairs: 50% of day. &nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Hands/Arms: Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer use. &nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Sight: Visual acuity in near, mid, and far range vision.
