Apply now!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum high school graduate.</li>\n <li>Must have reliable transportation.</li>\n <li>Able to estimate materials and time required to complete various tasks.</li>\n <li>Able to follow oral and written instructions. </li>\n <li>Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and an excellent driving record. </li>\n <li>Excellent work history and attendance record.</li>\n <li>Considerable knowledge of standard power tools and equipment used in painting activities; able to use and operate hand and power tools as needed in a safe, efficient manner. </li>\n <li>Working knowledge of safety standards/precautions pertaining to painting and ability to read and follow SDS recommendations and requirements. </li>\n <li>Able to bend/stoop/reach and lift/carry heavy objects weighing up to 100 pounds; twists torso 450 to 900 to perform essential functions.</li>\n <li>Must successfully complete all Atria-specified training programs. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>This position functions as a traveling Painter using his/her personally owned vehicle (POV).  The Painter will perform skilled work involving the preservation, priming and painting of interior and exterior surfaces at assigned Atria Senior Living Communities.  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paints surfaces, using brushes or paint rollers.*</li>\n <li>Smooth surfaces using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool.*</li>\n <li>Remove old paint from surfaces using paint remover, scraper, and wire brush to prepare surfaces for painting.* </li>\n <li>Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler using caulking gun and putty knife.* </li>\n <li>Remove fixtures, such as pictures, door knobs, switch/outlet covers, fire alarm covers, etc from walls prior to painting.*</li>\n <li>Spread drop cloths over floors, room furnishings, and covers surfaces with masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting. Use a ladder to perform tasks above ground level.*</li>\n <li>Wash surfaces prior to painting with mildew remover as needed.*</li>\n <li>May be assigned to wear a respirator.</li>\n <li>May perform other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Range</h2>The wage range for this position is $20.00/hr - $24.00/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience",
