    "description": "<h2>POSITION SUMMARY</h2>\n<p>$19.05/hr. to $26.11/hr. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Major functions why this position exists.</strong></p>\n<p>Performed majority of the time -- please start with the responsibilities that are the most time consuming:</p>\n<p>·       Picks up and delivers specimens, reports, supplies, x-rays and mail to physician offices and other entities while maintaining a schedule and documentation.</p>\n<p>·       Works with the Transportation Coordinator to be sure that route schedules are kept up to date and communicates changes.</p>\n<p>·       Keeps work areas clean and well stocked.  </p>\n<p>Performed occasionally but critical to successful performance of the job:</p>\n<p>·       Follows up all problems or errors by collecting documentation for lab managers.  </p>\n<p>·       Assists in reviewing process for improvement.</p>\n<p>·       Participates in training of employees to assure that all transportation staff receives appropriate training and maintain competency.</p>\n<p>·       Participates on hospital committees and transportation teams as needed.</p>\n<p>·       Looks for ways to improve customer service.</p>\n<p>·       Provides input for revising and presenting new procedures.</p>\n<p>·       Assists with supply ordering and restocking, as needed.</p>\n<p>·       Supports team and patient care by being available to cover vacation and sick time for coworkers.</p>\n<p>Decision making and budget responsibilities (e.g. impact limited to the employee, entire unit or organization-wide):</p>\n<p>·       Impact limited to the employee. </p>\n<p>Assigned direct reports (not limited to the ones listed).
