As a <strong>Team Lead, Municipal Engineering</strong>, you’ll guide multidisciplinary project delivery, strengthen client relationships, and drive local growth while mentoring a team committed to excellence.</p><hr><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><p>In this role, you will:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><strong>Lead</strong> a team of municipal engineering professionals delivering water, wastewater, stormwater, roadway, and public works projects across Fredericton and New Brunswick.</li><li><strong>Champion</strong> resource planning, recruitment, career development, and performance management to grow a resilient and engaged municipal practice.</li><li><strong>Drive &nbsp;</strong>business development initiatives, build trusted client partnerships, and elevate WSP’s market presence in the region.</li><li><strong>Guide &nbsp;</strong>project managers in proactively managing scope, schedule, financials, quality, and delivery using WSP’s project management tools.</li><li><strong>Oversee</strong> workload balancing and utilization, supporting inter‑office collaboration across Atlantic Canada.</li><li><strong>Provide</strong> senior technical leadership, review and authentication of engineering deliverables, and ensure adherence to WSP quality processes.</li><li><strong>Collaborate</strong> with municipalities, regulators, utilities, consultants, and contractors to advance community‑shaping infrastructure.</li><li><strong>Promote</strong> a culture of safety, innovation, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction.</li></ul><hr><p><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>A degree in <strong>Civil Engineering with P.Eng</strong>. designation in New Brunswick.</li><li><strong>10 Years of experience</strong></li><li>Experience delivering and leading municipal infrastructure projects such as water, wastewater, drainage systems, or transportation corridors.</li><li>Strong familiarity with municipal clients, permitting processes, and infrastructure priorities within Atlantic Canada.</li><li>Proven ability to mentor, develop, and motivate technical teams while fostering a collaborative culture.</li><li>Business development experience with demonstrated success building client relationships and growing market share.</li><li>Proficiency with design and modeling tools used in municipal engineering (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydrotechnical modeling).</li></ul><hr><p><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></p><p>We exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
