    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Surgical Team! <span style=\"font-family: 'Aptos',sans-serif; font-size: 11.0pt\">$8/HR Specialty Diff!</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 15px\">The Surgical RN works in a variety of Perioperative nursing roles including Pre-op, Intra-op, and post-op. The RN uses both a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to patient care. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 15px\">Responsibilities include assisting surgeons and the surgical team to care for the patient before, during, and after surgery. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 15px\">Surgical specialties include General Surgery, Pain Procedures, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, Obstetrics, ENT, Orthopedics, and Endoscopy. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">Maj</span><span style=\"color: #222222\">or Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assesses patients at intervals as stated in policies and procedures.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Develops an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Performs job duties in accordance with AORN Perioperative Job Descriptions and Competencies 2012 version.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Evaluates the patient’s progress toward attaining outcomes.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Transfers care as appropriate.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Delegates tasks as appropriate according to Montana Nurse Practice Act and job descriptions.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Documents nursing care accurately, completely and legibly.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Collaborates effectively with other disciplines as appropriate.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Participates in quality review and performance improvement projects.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Acts as a patient advocate and maintains privacy and confidentiality of all appropriate information.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Uses problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to foster effective work relationships with team members. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Maintains required competencies: 1) Circulating all orthopedics, podiatry, eye procedures, general, OB/GYN, &amp; dental procedures. 2) Scrubbing orthopedics, podiatry, eye procedures, general, OB/GYN, &amp; dental procedures if requested.  3)  Performs all job duties of pre-op &amp; post-op patient care.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Pursues professional growth and participates in a professional organization.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Skills, Knowledge, &amp; Abilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Basic computer knowledge.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Knowledge of nursing care principles, practices, and procedures.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Knowledge of safety principles and infection control in the patient care environment.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to assess patient’s needs and coordinate appropriate nursing care.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to develop perioperative patient plan of care.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Knowledge of AORN and Montana Nurse Practice Act. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Possess problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Education Requirements</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">BLS, ACLS, PALS &amp; NRP (must obtain within 3 months of hire).</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">CNOR Preferred. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Experience</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Two years perioperative services experience preferred.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Schedule</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Work hours are based on the needs of the department and may change.
