We value client service excellence and having FUN while supporting the career growth and the development of each other.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Our team at BTCC is looking for <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">two</span></span><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Analyst-Interns</span> for 8‑month terms commencing in<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> September 2026</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">January 2027,</span> respectively. The roles will support both business development and deal execution, with the first four months serving as a probationary period.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>What can you expect?</span></span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Business development: generate cold prospects (in generating new deals) from outside the Baker Tilly network</span></li>\n<li><span>Outreach: assist in organizing webinars + other public outreach opportunities</span></li>\n<li><span>Preliminary valuations: learn what drives value in private businesses</span></li>\n<li><span>Market research: used in creating industry reports and confidential information memorandums, which are utilized on live deals</span></li>\n<li><span>Presentation development: this will primarily include industry research and data visualization</span></li>\n<li><span>Buyer due diligence: when bringing a business to market, a tailored list of sophisticated strategic and private equity investors needs to be compiled based on research</span></li>\n<li><span>Financial Modelling: assist in creating forecasts of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in leveraged buyout transaction models</span></li>\n<li><span>Capital advisory: assist in creating pitches used in raising debt capital</span></li>\n<li><span>Quality of Earnings: assist in creating QoE reports used by acquirers in their financial due diligence  </span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Qualifications:</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span>You are an ambitious Accounting/Finance student and have:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Can-do attitude</span></li>\n<li><span>Relevant 3rd and 4th year course work in accounting, corporate finance, marketing, and economics</span></li>\n<li><span>Attention to detail and strong computer skills (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills, and demonstrated ability to work effectively with teammates</span></li>\n<li><span>Superior verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated ability to create presentations</span></li>\n<li><span>Demonstrated analytical ability</span><span>, such as in case competitions</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Why BTCC?</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span>BTCC leads the corporate finance practice at Baker Tilly Canada, a midsized, national accounting and advisory network of 50+ offices across Canada.
