    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Manufacturer of Premium Meat Products in Fort Atkinson</strong></p><p>Jones Dairy Farm, a family owned and operated business for over 135 years, is seeking a<strong>&nbsp;2nd&nbsp;</strong><strong>Shift Production Supervisor</strong>. &nbsp;This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who can demonstrate leadership, drive, and a focus on safely producing distinctive quality products.</p><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>Responsible for the effective planning, directing and coordinating all aspects of the operations procedures. &nbsp;This includes scheduling, training, and productivity of the employees; quality of the products; safety compliance efforts; equipment effectiveness and safety. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure availability of materials based on projected requirements.</li><li>Administer company policies, work rules, and labor contracts in a fair and consistent manner.</li><li>Meet Quality goals relating to food safety and quality, as well as internal and external audit results improvements.</li><li>Ensure work is performed in compliance with HACCP regulations, quality specifications, and USDA guidelines. &nbsp;</li><li>Make recommendations for improvements to procedures, methods, facilities, equipment, and other matter relating to the effectiveness of the production areas.</li><li>Coordinate and supervises activities of the personnel and determine work assignments efficiently.</li><li>Complete orientation and training thoroughly, timely, and effectively.</li><li>Meet all efficiency goals related to yields, labor costs and inedible.</li><li>Provide effective leadership and direction adhering to safety policies and meeting safety goals.</li><li>OH Costs (Indirect labor &amp; supply costs) are controlled as directed.</li><li>Complete administrative functions accurately and timely.</li><li>Effectively communicates and collaborates with all departments.</li><li>Must be able to work 10-hour days and 6 to 7-day weeks as needed. &nbsp;</li><li>Accept special projects and completes them promptly.</li></ul><p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>Education:</strong> High school diploma or equivalent</p><p><strong>Experience or Training:</strong> High level of organizational and communication skills with the ability to motivate and direct people.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Technology/Equipment:</strong> Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>Experience or Training:</strong> 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. &nbsp;Experience in conflict resolution and experience working in a union environment.</p><p><strong>Technology/Equipment:</strong> Experience with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Benefits Package:</strong></p><p>We offer an excellent compensation and benefit package:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Medical Insurance with a Health Reimbursement Account</li><li>Dental, Vision, Prescription, and Life Insurance</li><li>Flexible Spending Account</li><li>Company Paid Short Term Disability/Sick Pay</li><li>Long Term Disability available</li><li>Paid Vacation and 11 Paid Holidays</li><li>401K with a 100% Employer match on 5.5% eligible earnings</li><li>Health Club Incentives</li><li>Professional Development Including Tuition Reimbursement &amp; more!</li></ul><p>We offer an excellent compensation and benefit package.
