This role will manage room operations, overall game flow, resolve player disputes, enforce house rules, and maintain a safe environment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.</p><p>We encourage applicants from all backgrounds and those requiring accommodations to apply.</p><p>This role will be <em>in-person</em> located in our TCH location: insert location</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise all aspects of poker room operations, ensuring adherence to Texas Card House policies.</li><li>Manage a team of dealers, including dealer rotation, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.</li><li>Conduct floor audits and maintain accurate cash control procedures.</li><li>Resolve player disputes and rule infractions with professionalism and diplomacy.</li><li>Oversee the efficient seating of players and game distribution.</li><li>Maintain a safe and secure gaming environment by identifying and addressing suspicious activity.</li><li>Monitor player behavior and enforce all card house policies.</li><li>Collaborate with the Cash Cage and Supervisors on financial transactions.</li><li>Assist with marketing and promoting upcoming events and tournaments.</li><li>Generate detailed reports on daily operations and game performance.</li><li>Enforce game rules and maintain a fair and controlled game environment.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 1 year of Management experience.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of Dealer experience in the casino or poker industry (Required).</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Texas Hold'em poker rules, game variations, and casino operations.</li><li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, delegate, and coach a team.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage players, dealers, and supervisors.</li><li>Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Impeccable attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and regulations.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.</li><li>Ability to stand for long periods and navigate a crowded environment.</li><li>Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Casino gaming environment with noise, bright lights, and high-energy atmosphere.</li></ul><p><strong>Shift availability:</strong></p><ul><li>Day shifts</li><li>Evening shifts</li><li>Night shifts</li><li>Weekends/Holidays as needed</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Mobility: Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and move around the poker room to supervise operations, assist players, and manage dealers.</li><li>Dexterity: Ability to shuffle, deal cards, handle chips, and perform precise actions during card games.</li><li>Vision: Ability to observe player actions, monitor gameplay, read cards and chips, and identify rule violations or suspicious behavior in various lighting conditions.</li><li>Hearing: Ability to hear player conversations, dealer communications, and table activity in a noisy casino environment to address disputes and ensure smooth gameplay.</li><li>Communication: Clear verbal and non-verbal communication skills to interact with players, dealers, and staff, provide instructions, resolve disputes, and manage the poker room.</li><li>Endurance: Ability to maintain focus and multitask throughout long shifts, overseeing both the floor operations and dealing duties.</li><li>Lifting: Ability to carry up to 10 pounds (e.g., chips, card trays, paperwork) when necessary for operations.</li><li>Environment: Ability to work in a dynamic, noisy, and crowded casino floor environment, with exposure to fluctuating noise levels, lighting, and temperatures.</li><li><strong>Reasonable Accommodations</strong>: TCH will provide reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the role.</li></ul><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><ul><li>Job Type: Full-time</li><li>Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week</li><li>Pay: From $30+ hourly</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Medical Insurance (**Available to Full-Time Employees only)</li><li>Dental &amp; Vision Insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Employee Discounts (Gym, Food, Merchandise, and more!)</li><li>Flexible Schedules</li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></p><p>Texas Card House is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer with a global culture that embraces diversity.
