The organization is known for its collaborative approach, operational scale, regulatory discipline, and ability to deliver flexible, tailored program solutions supported by AmTrust’s financial strength and global platform.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The [Senior] Corporate Counsel will primarily serve as a senior legal advisor supporting AmTrust Risk Solutions’ reinsurance-backed and structured program business. This role is responsible for structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex program-related agreements and ensuring that all legal documentation operates cohesively across underwriting, reinsurance, operations, and finance. In addition, the [Senior] Corporate Counsel will support AmTrust’s core domestic insurance businesses, draft and negotiate relevant agreements and provide regulatory guidance.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li> Draft, review, and negotiate MGA, TPA, reinsurance, credit, collateral, trust, and letter-of-credit (LOC) agreements.</li>\n <li>Ensure consistency and alignment across all legal documentation supporting reinsurance-backed and hybrid fronting programs.</li>\n <li>Provide strategic legal counsel on program structure, risk allocation, and governance.</li>\n <li>Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks associated with specialty program structures.</li>\n <li>Partner with underwriting, finance, operations, and compliance teams.</li>\n <li>Manage relationships with external counsel, reinsurers, MGAs, TPAs, and business partners.</li>\n <li>Support audits, due diligence, and regulatory examinations.</li>\n <li>Provide legal training and guidance to internal stakeholders. </li>\n <li>Provide guidance regarding various insurance laws and regulations that impact the business.</li>\n <li>Draft insurance policy forms and endorsements for various lines of business, including commercial and financial and credit insurance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li> Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. </li>\n <li>Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. </li>\n <li>Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, or specialty program business. </li>\n <li>Strong experience with MGA, TPA, reinsurance, and collateral agreements. </li>\n <li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with financial and commercial lines and credit insurance</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>The expected salary range for this role is $150,200-$250,000/annually.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
