Organize and promote activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, games, music, dramatics, social recreation, and hobbies, taking into account the needs and interests of individual members.</p><p><br><strong>Tasks:</strong><br>&middot; Organize, lead, and promote interest in recreational activities such as arts, crafts, sports, games, camping, and hobbies.<br>&middot; Greet new arrivals to activities, introducing them to other participants, explaining facility rules, and encouraging participation.<br>&middot; Enforce rules and regulations of recreational facilities to maintain discipline and ensure safety.<br>&middot; Confer with management to discuss and resolve participant complaints.<br>&middot; Complete and maintain time and attendance forms and inventory lists.<br>&middot; Ascertain and interpret group interests, evaluate equipment and facilities, and adapt activities to meet participant needs.<br><br><strong>Skills:</strong><br>&middot; Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help people.<br>&middot; Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.<br>&middot; Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.<br>&middot; Instructing - Teaching others how to do something.<br>&middot; Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.<br>&middot; Time Management - Managing one&#39;s own time and the time of others.</p><p><br><strong>Attributes:</strong><br>&middot; Oral Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.<br>&middot; Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.<br>&middot; Speech Clarity - The ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.<br>&middot; Problem Sensitivity - The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
