In July 2024, GMIN acquired the Oko West project. The Oko West Project is a new gold discovery in northwest Guyana. It is located south of the historical “Oko” gold district, some 95 km west of Georgetown.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">To ensure the achievement of this large-scale project, G Mining Ventures is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\"><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Chief Mine Surveyor</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">To provide essential survey control for a variety of mining needs and detailed surveys of the mine workings and plant infrastructure, using modern sophisticated survey equipment</span><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\"> and appropriate presentation of all data in accordance with procedure<span>. The Mine Surveyor will also be responsible for volume calculations of reportable material movements.</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\"><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">To provide essential survey control for a variety of mining and total site needs, and detailed surveys of the mine workings</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">To compile, keep, update and submit appropriate plans as per Mining Regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">Ensure that all survey requests are prioritized and dealt with according to set priorities. End-of-month reporting of the quantities and qualities for all payment and record purposes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">Keep an accurate up-to-date status of acquired lands and prospective lands to be acquired.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">Ensure all resources organized for survey function.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">Maintain and update accurate as-built of locations including but not limited to pits, dumps, stockpiles, Tailings Facilities, Water Ponds, Plant site, Services and all other infrastructure within the mining concession that may be altered either by excavation or by dumping.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">Ensure surveying services and support interface effectively with the engineering, mine planning and production functions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">Provide basic design layout of roads, dumps, drainage, etc, and does more elaborate design under the direction of engineering staff.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">Provide final design layout under engineer direction, and ensure follow up in the field.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">Provide operations monitoring and reporting to enable the achievement of short and long term business objectives.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">Contribute to the Operations of the Mine by ensuring all jobs are done accurately and in a timely fashion and to </span><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt\">draw up a budget for the Survey Section for each year</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">To be responsible for volume calculations of reportable material movements.</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Supervise the preparation and uploading of the data for the above tasks into the data loggers. </span></li>\n<li><span>Supervise the downloading, processing and filing of the data coming in from the field and prepares the results and plan for distribution.</span></li>\n<li><span>Supervise the month end volumetric survey of the pits and ensures the correctness of the computed volumes.</span></li>\n<li><span>Supervise or perform regular slope stability monitoring observations in the pit and timeously submit the reduced data to the Geo-technical Geologist.</span></li>\n<li><span>Help with data interpretation for mine planning, production forecasting and operational decision making. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;
