With offices in Caguas, PR, Boston, MA &amp; San Francisco, CA and we serve life sciences clients in six global markets: United States, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Germany, Canada, and South America.&#160;</em></p><p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><strong><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Responsibilities:</span></strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises including procurement, budget administration and contract management.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Provide technical support and advice to assure that operational activities are performed in compliance with corporate/government policies and regulations in a cost-effective way and within the timelines established by the customer.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Manage technical issues/problems appropriately and efficiently.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Monitor work areas and examine tools and equipment in order to detect unsafe conditions or violations of procedures or safety rules.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Manages the employee&#8217;s Time Keeping equipment/software function process.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, and replacement parts.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Exhibit a customer-oriented behavior, by clearly understanding customers&#8217; needs and expectations, and anticipating possible barriers or obstacles that may impact the project(s) adversely and communicating these on a timely manner.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Guarantee top quality of services provided to client by reviewing work performed, documentation submitted, get hold of client feedback and monitoring project status vs. client requirements.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Issue Performance Review Report to employees under his/her supervision and monitor the process below direct report.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Create/develop customer relations and new business opportunities.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Promote excellent relationship with Mentor clients, encouraging an open dialog and trustful communication between both parties demonstrating a professional conduct at all times and proudly represent Mentor at all levels and places.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Alerts management when problems are identified and make recommendations for improvements.</span></span></li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom:11px;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills: </span></strong></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Bachelor&#8217;s Degree Engineering, Science or related fields&#160;preferred.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">At least 10 years of experience on direct exposure managing plant utilities/facilities operations.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">At least eight (8) years hands on experience as Utilities/Facilities Maintenance with full responsibility for business operations (planning, budget administration, contracting and cost saving initiatives).</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">This role requires a skilled senior manager with pharma engineering experience, compliance and safety focused.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Strong operational experience and experience of dealing in a challenging environment.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Knowledge and experience on pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology manufacturing is required.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Willing to work irregular hours, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays when needed.</span></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><b>Physical Requirements and Working Environment:&#160;</b></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate equipment's, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, talk, or hear; sit; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and smell. The employee may lift and/or move up to 25-35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">He / she may frequently work inside weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, exposed to wet and or humid conditions, and an odorous atmosphere, may be exposed to fumes and the risk of electrical shock, and occasionally work on ladders in high places, in small spaces, such as lift/metering stations, manholes, tanks and wet wells.
