This role assists Project Managers and Administrative staff with field coordination, documentation, inspections, contractor oversight, and project tracking, while supporting PE-level activities like submittal review, schedule monitoring, and closeout documentation.</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<h4><strong>What You Will Do &ndash; Essential Responsibilities</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Assist Project Managers with day-to-day field coordination and contractor supervision.</li>\n\t<li>Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.</li>\n\t<li>Support document control, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists.</li>\n\t<li>Review and track shop drawings, submittals, and minor contract documentation under guidance from the Project Manager.</li>\n\t<li>Help maintain and update project schedules, review baseline updates, and assist in schedule tracking.</li>\n\t<li>Assist with project closeout, including turnover documentation, punchlists, warranty coordination, and training for District staff.</li>\n\t<li>Coordinate with District personnel, school staff, and contractors to minimize operational impacts during construction.</li>\n\t<li>Support cost tracking and minor budget review activities (under PM supervision).</li>\n\t<li>Maintain project information in PMIS systems (e.g., Procore, Unifier, eBuilder).</li>\n\t<li>Monitor contractor safety measures, SWPPP BMPs, staging areas, and public access compliance.</li>\n\t<li>Participate in technical reviews, site meetings, and inspections alongside Project Managers.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<h4><strong>Secondary Responsibilities</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and foster collaboration on project sites.</li>\n\t<li>Participate in GafCollege training, professional development, and certification programs.</li>\n\t<li>Assist with other tasks as assigned, including client and stakeholder communications.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<h4><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></h4>\n\n<p>The person does not have any direct reports.</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<h4><strong>Qualifications and Requirements</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering (AEC) or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>2&ndash;5 years of experience supporting construction projects, facilities maintenance, or public works environments preferred.</li>\n\t<li>Experience with K&ndash;12 or public agency construction projects</li>\n\t<li>Experience in design and/or construction experience preferred.</li>\n\t<li>Ability to work independently in field environments</li>\n\t<li>Familiarity with construction documents, schedules, inspections, and contractor coordination</li>\n\t<li>Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) certification preferred.</li>\n\t<li>Working knowledge of the principals of the construction process, plan review, cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration required.</li>\n\t<li>Accurately interpret construction contractual documents and contract modifications to determine cost.</li>\n\t<li>Accurately analyze situations and assist in developing cost estimates.</li>\n\t<li>Possess proficient oral and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people with diverse backgrounds of all levels and disciplines.</li>\n\t<li>Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, clients, and others in contact with the job.</li>\n\t<li>Strong customer service skills, ability to assess customer needs, and ensure delivery/receipt of service when appropriate.</li>\n\t<li>Efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities.</li>\n\t<li>Proficient in MS Office Suite and knowledgeable with PMIS (Unifier, Prolog, Procore, PM Web, and/or eBuilder).&nbsp; P6, AutoCAD and/or Revit experience is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><em>Gafcon PM-CM LLC reserves the right to periodically redefine your roles and responsibilities based on the requirements of the organization and/or your performance.&nbsp;As a condition of employment Gafcon PM-CM LLC will require proof of your legal ability to work in the United States and conduct a background check.</em></p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<hr />\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<h4><strong>Benefits Overview</strong></h4>\n\n<p>At Gafcon, we know that our people are our greatest asset. This role assists Project Managers and Administrative staff with field coordination, documentation, inspections, contractor oversight, and project tracking, while supporting PE-level activities like submittal review, schedule monitoring, and closeout documentation.\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nWhat You Will Do &ndash; Essential Responsibilities\\n\\n\\n\\tAssist Project Managers with day-to-day field coordination and contractor supervision.\\n\\tConduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.\\n\\tSupport document control, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists.\\n\\tReview and track shop drawings, submittals, and minor contract documentation under guidance from the Project Manager.\\n\\tHelp maintain and update project schedules, review baseline updates, and assist in schedule tracking.\\n\\tAssist with project closeout, including turnover documentation, punchlists, warranty coordination, and training for District staff.\\n\\tCoordinate with District personnel, school staff, and contractors to minimize operational impacts during construction.\\n\\tSupport cost tracking and minor budget review activities (under PM supervision).\\n\\tMaintain project information in PMIS systems (e.g., Procore, Unifier, eBuilder).\\n\\tMonitor contractor safety measures, SWPPP BMPs, staging areas, and public access compliance.\\n\\tParticipate in technical reviews, site meetings, and inspections alongside Project Managers.\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nSecondary Responsibilities\\n\\n\\n\\tMaintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and foster collaboration on project sites.\\n\\tParticipate in GafCollege training, professional development, and certification programs.\\n\\tAssist with other tasks as assigned, including client and stakeholder communications.\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nSupervisory Responsibilities\\n\\nThe person does not have any direct reports.\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nQualifications and Requirements\\n\\n\\n\\tBachelor&rsquo;s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering (AEC) or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.&nbsp;\\n\\t2&ndash;5 years of experience supporting construction projects, facilities maintenance, or public works environments preferred.\\n\\tExperience with K&ndash;12 or public agency construction projects\\n\\tExperience in design and/or construction experience preferred.\\n\\tAbility to work independently in field environments\\n\\tFamiliarity with construction documents, schedules, inspections, and contractor coordination\\n\\tConstruction Manager in Training (CMIT) certification preferred.\\n\\tWorking knowledge of the principals of the construction process, plan review, cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration required.\\n\\tAccurately interpret construction contractual documents and contract modifications to determine cost.\\n\\tAccurately analyze situations and assist in developing cost estimates.\\n\\tPossess proficient oral and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people with diverse backgrounds of all levels and disciplines.\\n\\tDevelop and maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, clients, and others in contact with the job.\\n\\tStrong customer service skills, ability to assess customer needs, and ensure delivery/receipt of service when appropriate.\\n\\tEfficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities.\\n\\tProficient in MS Office Suite and knowledgeable with PMIS (Unifier, Prolog, Procore, PM Web, and/or eBuilder).&nbsp; P6, AutoCAD and/or Revit experience is preferred.\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nGafcon PM-CM LLC reserves the right to periodically redefine your roles and responsibilities based on the requirements of the organization and/or your performance.&nbsp;As a condition of employment Gafcon PM-CM LLC will require proof of your legal ability to work in the United States and conduct a background check.\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nBenefits Overview\\n\\nAt Gafcon, we know that our people are our greatest asset.
