    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>We are looking for a Lead Certified Sterile Process Technician - someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position, you will assist the Manager in supervising the efficient processing of instruments and sterilization throughout the Hospital.</p><p><strong>Think you’ve got what it takes?</strong></p><p><br><strong><u>Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Processes decontaminated medical devices as they are received, according to established priorities, medical device IFU’s and best practices.</li><li>Ensures staff are trained in the operation of the decontamination equipment.</li><li>Receives instruments from the decontamination area and processes appropriately.</li><li>Performs physical and environmental duties as designated routinely, including cleaning workspace/instrument room/cabinets, emptying biohazards waste, monitoring sterilizers, and checking environmental monitors.</li><li>Completes sterilization processes.</li><li>High level disinfection.</li><li>Monitor completion of Quality Assurance Data&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure the department is adequately staffed daily, including weekends.</li><li>Collaborate with others i.e., OR coordinators BioMed, Supply Chain, for troubleshooting/ordering instruments etc.</li><li><p>Performs other duties as assigned, including other essential instrument room duties.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p><strong><u>Skills and Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to operate all OR sterilization and processing equipment, to prioritize and organize, and to work independently with consistent supervision</li><li>Knowledge of a wide variety of instrumentation used in the operating room and throughout the Hospital</li><li>Required H.S. Diploma or GED</li><li>Required CRCST - Cert-Cert Reg Cent Ser TECH by The Healthcare Sterile Processing Association <strong>OR </strong>CSPDT - Cert-Sterile Proc &amp; Dist Tech by the Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician issued by The Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution</li><li>2 years hospital instrument processing&nbsp;</li></ul>",
