Locate and mark bending and cutting lines onto work piece.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Position work piece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Push button or depress pedal to activate machine.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Measure work piece dimensions with varying measuring devices to determine accuracy of machine operation.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work piece.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Assist machine operators to set up machine, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Monitor fabricating tasks and recommends quality improvement initiatives to the fabrication manager.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.</span></li></ul><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style='font-size:16px;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>&nbsp;</span></p><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><strong><span style='font-size:16px;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;background:white;'>Preferred Skills and Qualifications:&nbsp;</span></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:-0.25in;\"><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:black;'>One to three years&rsquo; experience as a fabrication operator or similar</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:black;'>Basic understanding of computer functions and various software</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:black;'>Must be able to read prints and understand all press brake operations</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:black;'>Must have strong math skills, including proficiency with fractions and decimals</span></li></ul><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style='font-size:16px;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>&nbsp;</span></p><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style='font-size:16px;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>At Great Plains Manufacturing, our people make the difference, making our company a great place to work and grow.
