The ideal candidate will be an astute professional and have achieved a minimum Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accreditation from the International Coaching Federation. Apply today to join our team, remembering to please ensure your resume lists all of your pre-coaching work experience as we are looking for someone who has led in an organizational setting prior to becoming a leadership coach. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>As a Leadership Coach with Vancouver Coastal Health you will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide individual and team coaching support to senior leadership within VCH, being responsible for ongoing development of corporate and clinical leadership teams, blending individual and collective team feedback to enhance the clinical leadership team’s performance.</li>\n <li>Be the internal culture catalyst, business partner, change leader and facilitator dedicated to senior leaders and their teams to inspire a culture of caring, learning and results.</li>\n <li>Offer a thinking partnership with clients that align with VCH's values and to improve performance and organizational effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Shift mindsets and build skillsets and capacity through just in time delivery of curated training programs designed to meet time constraints of operations. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with Executive Directors, Directors, Managers, Physicians, and Front Line leadership teams. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education & Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum requirement of a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, Adult Education or Leadership.</li>\n <li>Five (5) to ten (10) years’ progressive experience in leadership team coaching and organizational development.</li>\n <li>Certificate or equivalent in Coaching and Leadership Development.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge & Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Displays comprehensive knowledge of leadership development, coaching and change management principles and methodologies and ability to coach team members on these skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to gain the trust of intelligent, potentially skeptical leaders and be able to engage the individuals and the whole leadership team.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to read in-the–moment, the multiple levels of dynamics that are occurring in the team. Demonstrates a deep theoretical and practical understanding of group dynamics and team development.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates significant results based coaching experience with individuals and groups.</li>\n <li>Fosters a climate of trust, safety, transparency and commitment.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated excellent presentation and group facilitation skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated awareness of power and its movement within a group, and comfort with intervening to affect the ways power is used in the group.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to put into simple, jargon-less language what is observed and the presence to raise any issue with the team or its members at the right moment.</li>\n <li>A keen sense of the business of healthcare, its structures of the organization and its challenges.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; effectively facilitates, collaborates and negotiates with others, and has the ability to persuade and influence.</li>\n <li>Utilizes adult education principles and best practices to develop and oversee leadership team development.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize, plan, organize workloads and manage client expectations.</li>\n <li>Anticipates future changes in practice, and recommends transition strategies that optimize the efficiency, appropriateness, consistency and quality of Employee Engagement Programs.</li>\n <li>Develops, manages, and evaluates program delivery in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders considering service delivery needs, demands and constraints within a complex environment.</li>\n <li>Negotiates and influences within a collaborative framework to resolve conflict.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Closing Statement</h2>\n<p>As per Ministry of Health policy, all health care workers working in publicly-funded health care facilities are required to report their past receipt of certain vaccines or history of certain infections. Collecting these records will allow for offering of any missing vaccines, and for appropriate actions to be taken in the event of any future exposure to a communicable disease or during outbreaks.
