TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p>Under the direction of the Chief Therapist/Rad Oncology simulate and deliver daily radiation treatments to oncology patients as directed by the Radiation Oncologist; act as liaison between patients and their families and the Radiation Oncologist when adverse reactions or disease progression occurs</p>\n<p><strong>Reports:</strong></p>\n<p>Chief Therapist/Rad Oncology</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<p>Student Radiographers</p>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<p>Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology approved program in radiation therapy.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<p>None</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<p>State of Florida Department of Health certification as a Radiation Therapy Technologist.
