The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3><u>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES</u></h3><ul><li>Patrolling the grocery store premises and identifying suspicious activity.</li><li>Interact with store staff of all divisions.</li><li>Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter.</li><li>Protect company&#39;s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.</li><li>Maintain Professionalism and provide great Customer Service experience.</li><li>Observe all signs of crime or disorder.</li><li>Watch video cameras and operate surveillance equipment.</li><li>Take accurate notes and report in detail any suspicious activities.</li><li>Investigate any and all disturbances.</li><li>Monitor and control access at building entrance.</li><li>Immediate responsiveness to incidents/conflicts.</li><li>Assist in removing transients from property.</li><li>Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.</li></ul><p>The above is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of essential functions for the job described, but rather a general description of some of the responsibilities necessary to carry out the duties of this position.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></h2><p><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. &nbsp;Good interpersonal skills required.</li><li>Knowledge of proper security procedures in a public relations/customer service atmosphere.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with co-workers, the public, and other law enforcement officials.</li><li>Ability to stand for long periods of time.</li><li>Surveillance skills and detail orientation.</li><li>Ability to physically control disorderly patrons.</li><li>Ability to work in an environment that contains excessive noise, stress, and smoke.</li><li>Ability to work on a flexible shift schedule.</li><li>Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time (8 or more hours)</li><li>Lifting requirements (50lbs or less).</li><li>Must maintain confidentiality at all times.</li><li>Must have a valid drivers license.</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
