Coordinates with the parent office, the interdisciplinary team, patient/client, family, and referring agency. Oversees QAPI issues at the branch level and directs staff with regard to Agency policies and procedures. Maximizes human, financial, and equipment resources.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Directs and coordinates branch, and assumes responsibility for continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered. Identifies problem areas to Administrator and the Supervising Nurse at the parent office.</li><li>Promotes the philosophy, mission, and administrative policies of the Agency, in an effort to ensure quality of patient/client care.</li><li>Employs, recruits, manages, and directs qualified personnel to carry out the policies and procedures of the Agency. Ensures staff education and evaluations.</li><li>Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency.</li><li>Monitors operational systems for efficiency and compliance with regulations and identifies problem areas to Administrator and the Supervising Nurse.</li><li>Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the Agency and licensing board.</li><li>Provides communication to parent office regarding needs of the branch to include personnel needs, financial needs, professional practices, quality issues, and planning.</li><li>Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.</li><li>Promotes and monitors compliance with fiscal intermediary and / or other third-party payers, federal and state regulations, through education, coaching, QAPI program and other assistance, as necessary.</li></ul>",
