As our practice grows, we are seeking a dedicated, North Carolina-licensed Psychiatrist to serve as a Collaborative and Supervising Physician for our team of advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs).</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p>This is a purely administrative, non-clinical oversight role. There is<br>no direct patient care, no on-call hours, and no caseload management required<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">.</span> The ideal candidate will provide the required state-level regulatory collaboration and supervisory oversight for our psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs), ensuring compliance with the North Carolina Medical Board and Board of Nursing guidelines. This role is highly flexible and perfect for a physician looking to supplement their income with a predictable, low-hour monthly commitment.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Regulatory Oversight:</span> Serve as the designated Collaborative Physician for NPs and Supervising Physician for PAs in accordance with North Carolina state laws.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Chart Reviews:</span> Conduct routine, periodic retrospective chart reviews (typically 10-20 charts per month per provider) to ensure clinical quality and documentation compliance.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality Assurance &amp; Consultation:</span> Provide periodic clinical consultation, advice, and feedback to mid-level providers regarding complex cases as reasonably requested.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Regulatory Compliance:</span> Participate in and document mandatory monthly or periodic quality assurance meetings with providers (can be conducted virtually) as required by NC law.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Agreement Maintenance:</span> Review and sign annual Collaborative Practice Agreements and Supervisory Arrangements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Qualifications &amp; Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span> MD or DO from an accredited medical school.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Licensure:</span> Unrestricted, active license to practice medicine in the State of North Carolina.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Board Certification:</span> Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (General, Adult, or Child/Adolescent).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Credentials:</span> Active DEA registration.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Clean Record:</span> No active malpractice claims or disciplinary actions by the NC Medical Board.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Must be licensed in NC.
