Description
Delaware Valley University Student Employment – Athletics – Fields/Stadium
We are looking for a DVU student to join our Athletics Team!
Reporting to Kevin Cooney, the hours are 10 per week, weekdays and weekends. We are seeking students who would like to commit to the position beyond one semester.
Essential job responsibilities:
Set up game fields and some practice fields.
Moving of goals and benches
Turning on clocks for games/practices
Mostly outside events in the fall, indoor in the winter, outside in the spring.
Hours are during the week, with some weekends. Most games start at 4:00pm and field set up is usually 1 hour and 15 minutes before game time.
Preferred qualifications include:
Prefer people who live on campus or close to campus
Good communication
Time management
Dependable
Work as a team
Physical demands and working conditions for this position include:
Lifting 25 pounds
Climbing bleachers
Outdoor exposure to weather
Typically standing or walking
Requirements:
Must be a Del Val student
