    "description": "<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Department: </strong>Behavioral Health - Nursing Administration Intake</li>\n <li><strong>Schedule: </strong>Full-Time Evenings, 8-Hour Shifts, 3:00 pm- 11:00 pm  </li>\n <li><strong>Work Location: </strong>UAB St. Vincent's East  </li>\n <li><strong>Benefits for eligible positions only include:</strong> generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Do</h2>\n<p>Coordinate patient intake activities and resources.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Evaluate severity of illness for all elective, direct and urgent admissions to determine appropriate level of patient care.</li>\n <li>Review physician orders for clinical appropriateness / completeness and proper admission status.</li>\n <li>Coordinate education and development of internal staff and external departments to ensure understanding of intake review and approval process. </li>\n <li>Conduct complex clinical review for inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary services requests for medical necessity.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Need</h2>\n<p>Licensure / Certification / Registration:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
