Description
About the Role:
The R1 Producer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end production process of R1 projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and are completed on schedule. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including creative, technical, and operational departments to coordinate resources and streamline workflows. The R1 Producer is responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and communication channels to facilitate smooth project execution and timely delivery. By proactively identifying potential risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies, the producer ensures that projects remain on track and aligned with organizational goals. Ultimately, the R1 Producer drives the successful completion of projects that meet client expectations and contribute to the company’s reputation for excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Telecommunications &/or Radio/Television/Digital. At least 3 years of experience in project or production management, preferably within media, entertainment, or technology sectors. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft, Adobe, Zetta. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience specifically managing R1 or similar production workflows. Background in digital media production or content creation. Strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
Manage the production, booking, on-air aspects of a radio broadcast show.. Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and adjust resources as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards. Identify potential risks and issues early, implementing contingency plans to minimize impact on project outcomes. Facilitate regular status meetings and provide comprehensive reports to leadership and clients on project performance and milestones. Skills:
The R1 Producer utilizes strong organizational skills daily to coordinate complex project schedules. Effective communication skills are essential for facilitating collaboration between creative, technical, and operational teams, as well as for managing client relationships. Proficiency in project management software enables the producer to track progress, allocate resources efficiently, and adjust plans dynamically in response to changing priorities. Analytical skills support the identification and mitigation of risks before they impact project timelines or quality.
