    "description": "<p>26-043- PRIMARY CARE PARAMEDIC- EVANSBURG- TEMPORARY FULL-TIME</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p><span>Associated Ambulance is currently seeking two (2) qualified </span><span>Primary Care Paramedic (PCP)</span><span> to join our team at the </span><span>Evansburg Station</span><span>. This </span><span>temporary full-time</span><span> position offers a predictable and balanced shift schedule of </span><span>four days on, followed by four days off</span><span>. As an PCP with Associated Ambulance, you will be an essential part of our emergency medical response team, providing </span><span>vital pre-hospital care and life-saving interventions</span><span> to the community.</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Assess patient conditions to determine the extent of injury or illness and immediate care requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span>Administer pre-hospital emergency medical care, including patient stabilization for ambulance transportation.</span></li>\n<li><span>Monitor vital signs, assess blood glucose levels, and perform other diagnostic procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span>Execute advanced life support procedures such as intubation and cardiac pacing.</span></li>\n<li><span>Work collaboratively with emergency medical personnel, emergency communications officers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Valid Primary Care Paramedic practice permit</span><span> that meets the EMS practice requirements in Alberta.</span></li>\n<li><span>Current, valid Alberta Class IV driver’s license.</span></li>\n<li><span>Completion of all </span><span>mandatory and required training</span><span>, including </span><span>MCP and PDIC</span><span>.</span></li>\n<li><span>FARE Certificate</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Strong commitment to </span><span>quality patient care, safety, and professionalism</span><span>, aligning with Associated Ambulance’s core values.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work effectively within an </span><span>inter professional healthcare team</span><span>.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to remain </span><span>calm and perform efficiently in high-pressure emergency situations</span><span>.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Upcoming Orientation Dates for 2026:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>June 1 – 5</li>\n<li>August 17-21</li>\n<li>October 5-9</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Please submit your application via Bamboo by following the link below.
