Description

Overview Night Shift - 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM The Work: The Occupational Health Nurse will be providing services offered under the client’s medical office services, such as assessing patients’ health conditions, monitoring vital signs, providing patient care-based treatment plans, Workers Compensation follow-ups, screenings, and administering immunizations. This position aligns with Cayuse’s core values of Innovation, Excellence, Collaboration, Adaptability, and Integrity by fostering technical solutions that meet customer needs, promoting teamwork, and prioritizing quality in deliverables. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Provide all services normally offered under an Occupational Health Medical Office Services, including audiometry, spirometry screenings, immunizations and worker’s compensation follow-up. Observe and evaluate a patient’s physical status by taking vital signs, reviewing medical history, and conducting a thorough assessment. Act as the nurse case manager for workers' compensation cases. Work with web-based computer systems, Occupational Health and Safety software, and Microsoft Office Suite software. Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocol. Provide clear instructions and information to patients about their conditions, medications, and self-care practices. Administer medications accurately and safely according to Physicians’ orders. Maintain detailed patient records, including observations, interventions, and progress updates. Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patients care. Maintain clear communication with patients. Maintain work area, exam rooms, and supplies. Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct at all times. Attend meetings as requested. Follow all of client's policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications – Here’s What You Need: Be licensed to practice in Fort Worth, Texas The certification to become an Occupational Hearing Conservationist (CAOHC) Hearing Technician must be completed within 60 days of starting work, with upfront costs covered by the individual. Reimbursement will be provided once pre-employment requirements are completed, the start date is confirmed, and work in the role has begun. Be certified to administer CPR and use an AED Must be able to pass a Tier one background, Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment Minimum Skills: Must possess problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency. Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc. Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time. Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature. Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to walk, stand, and bend for long periods of time. Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time. Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position. Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace. Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen. May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays. May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes. May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
