    "description": "<p>May 25, 2026</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WELLINGTON HEALTH CARE ALLIANCE</span></p>\n<p>(Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Palmerston &amp; District Hospital, and Louise Marshall Hospital)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSTING #2026-119</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESPIRATORY THERAPIST</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">(TEMPORARY MODIFIED FULL TIME)</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>One (1) temporary modified full-time (0.8 FTE) Respiratory Therapist position is available at Wellington Health Care Alliance (WHCA).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The WHCA is comprised of two corporations with more than 1,000 staff, including physicians and volunteers, operating three vibrant acute care hospital sites: Groves Memorial Community Hospital (Fergus) and North Wellington Health Care (Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest &amp; Palmerston and District Hospital in Palmerston). The homesite for this position will be Groves Memorial Community Hospital.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Respiratory Therapist makes decisions and accepts responsibility for all aspects of Respiratory patient care in accordance with Departmental, Hospital(s) and Legislative Standards that govern the profession. The Respiratory Therapist is primarily responsible in a clinical role for the assessment, treatment, education and management of patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This position has the additional responsibility for the management of day-to-day service operations, staff support, as well as other delegated educational and administrative activities. Keeps current in professional skills and knowledge through education.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Skills and Attributes):</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Approved School</li>\n<li>Current Certificate of Competence with CRTO</li>\n<li>Current BCLS and NRP essential.
