If you&rsquo;re ready to lead with passion and purpose, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you!</p><p><strong><u>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Ensure the team consistently delivers exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.</li><li>Provide high-quality ski and bike services in a timely, professional manner.</li><li>Train and develop the store team on effective selling techniques and foster a culture of continuous improvement.</li><li>Increase store sales through business analysis, creative strategies, action planning, and consistent team accountability.</li><li>Identify operational problems and opportunities, and implement viable, efficient solutions.</li><li>Maintain store visual presentation standards, ensuring an inspiring and brand-consistent shopping experience.</li><li>Ensure all employees follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.</li><li>Attend in-store and off-site product knowledge clinics to remain informed on trends and innovations.</li><li>Represent and promote Sun &amp; Ski Sports within the local community through outreach and brand advocacy.</li><li>Lead and actively participate in store and community events and promotions.</li><li>Oversee store expenses and payroll, with the ability to plan, delegate, and adjust to changing business needs.</li><li>Communicate regularly with the District Manager and Home Office teams to align with company initiatives.</li><li>Uphold loss prevention standards, minimizing internal/external shrink and maintaining accurate cash control.</li></ul><p><strong><u>REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Outdoor Enthusiast with a passion for cycling, skiing/snowboarding, water sports, surf/swimming, skating/skateboarding, and more.</li><li>2+ years of management experience in a retail environment.</li><li>Proven ability to motivate, lead, and develop a successful team while driving sales and profitability.</li><li>2+ years of retail experience, preferably within snow, water, or bike sports categories.</li><li>Solid understanding of business operations, inventory management, and shrink reduction strategies.</li><li>Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for working with vendors, buyers, associates, and executive leadership.</li><li>Skilled in recruiting, interviewing, training, and staff development.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.</li><li>Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.</li></ul><p>INDRET</p><p><strong>Note</strong></p><p>This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) in this position.
