You will also ensure that our state-of-the-art distributed storage platform is stable, resilient, and scalable.</p><p>As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Participating in functional and product design reviews, and incorporating feedback into test plans and test cases</li><li class=\"lst\">Developing and implementing automated tests for functionality, load, and performance</li><li class=\"lst\">Creating and execute tests on new features and capabilities</li><li class=\"lst\">Collaborating with a cross functional team of developers, Systems QA, release engineers, architects and program managers</li><li class=\"lst\">Improving our testing and automation infrastructures, define test plans and effective automation</li></ul><p><b>Do what you love</b></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field</li><li class=\"lst\">Have experience working in Unix/Linux and developing Automation framework using python</li><li class=\"lst\">Have experience with storage technologies and/or Cloud computing and networking concepts such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP</li><li class=\"lst\">Be highly responsible, self-managed, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and possess excellent communication skills</li><li class=\"lst\">Have passion to understand, learn, and dissect new technologies quickly and excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills</li></ul><p><b>Work in a way that works for you</b></p><p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world. The base salary for this position ranges from $106,600 - $221,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
