Responsibilities
• Producing and overseeing technical design and contract documents in compliance with owner requirements, in collaboration with project teams.
• Working with team members to validate that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements, regulations, quality assurance and control.
• Providing technical design solutions for both new and renovation projects including interior and exterior assemblies.
• Leading assembly of specifications for projects using the NMS format.
• Coordinating and leading internal production teams.
• Coordinating with project sub-consultants.
• Providing technical mentoring and project leadership to office staff.
• Assisting with contract administration including site visits and working with construction contractors.
Qualifications
• Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college.
• 10+ years’ working as a Building or Architectural Technologist for an Architectural consulting firm.
• Demonstrated substantial product knowledge and ability to detail architectural building systems.
• Construction site experience.
• Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows; REVIT software; Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Microsoft 365 environment; Bluebeam
Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $80,800 – $107,000
MB & ON : $73,700 – $101,500
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC : $73,000 – $96,900
